Vulcan Foundary 0-4-0ST Works No 1451 'Alice' is seen at Metro Cammell's Saltley works on 7th August 1951. Built in 1895, No 1451 was one of several elderly locomotives to serve the works all of whom lasted to the mid-1950s.
