An unidentified George Fifth locomotive is seen arriving at Rugby station on a Northampton to Rugby service circa 1930s. This painting by Pete Annable provides an atmospheric picture of the station which in my opinion can only be captured in oils or water colour. I confess that it is one of my favourites and so it appears as an indulgence to my passion for paintings of the county's railways. Water Colour
