Looking elegant in LMS black livery with maroon and straw lining
No 46100 'Royal Scot' roars through Tamworth Low Level with an 'up' express
C1949. Built at Derby works to Lot 73 in June 1930 the engine ran in original
condition until it was rebuilt in June 1950 with a tapered 2A boiler and in
this condition remained in service until it was withdrawn from 16A Nottingham
shed in October 1962 to be subsequently preserved.
