Tile Hill station with gates closed to road traffic as the
train spotters waiting for a Birmingham to Coventry train to arrive circa 1958.
The station master's house on the up platform was built in 1838 to accommodate
the signal man. This was my local station and I am trainspoting on the platform
with Brian Nelson, Barry Ford and Phil Weston. Oil painting
