Welcome to the Supporters of Warwickshire Railwayspage. Supporters of Warwickshire Railways has been established in order to ensure that the website not only survives in the future but continues to grow. Friends can support the website in several ways. You could actively help seek out information and material for us to use in the preparation of articles and captions or, if possible, write these articles or captions. A financial donation is extremely helpful as much of the new material needed lies with public sector organisations that charge the public to copy their maps, photos or records.

As you can see on the right, we have a DONATE button requesting help to support Warwickshire Railways. Funds raised will be used to purchase either maps and photographs in order to help enrich the website. It is our intention to attempt to identify Ordnance Survey maps (and other maps too) for each station or area of interest that will help to record its development from when it first opened to circa 1968 or its closure. Ideally we would be looking to identify maps covering three distinct periods: maps covering the period shortly after the station opened, maps covering the Edwardian period considered to be the heyday of railways and maps covering the period immediately after the Second World War. These would be supplemented by others if they showed significant difference to the others. Similarly if there are no significant differences between the maps for a given station then this would be recorded and the map would be omitted.
