One of several photographs that are later than our target time line of 1968, this 1977 view shows the standard LNWR timber structure. Whilst mainly in original condition the deep canopy, which covered most of the platform to the front of the building, has been cut severely back. Station signage and lighting is pure post steam British Rail.
