LNWR 4-6-0 2P Experiment class No 496 'Harlequin' is seen at the head of an up Stafford to Rugby local passenger train near Atherstone circa 1919-23. Built at Crewe works in November 1907 it was renumbered by the LMS as No 5485 in November 1926 and remained in service until August 1930 when it was withdrawn for scrapping at Crewe works.
