Another aerial view of Atherstone station after electrification of the route showing the original Livock designed building but with new platform canopy. In the distance the road seen on the far side of the redundant goods yard - closed in May 1964 - was once known as Watling Street being the route of the old Roman road but today is now known as Long Street.
