LMS 4-6-0 Royal Scot class No 6119 'Lancashire Fusilier' is seen at the head of an up express to Euston as it passes through Brinklow station circa 1937. Built by the North British Locomotive Company in November 1927 No 6119 remained in service until December 1963 when it was withdrawn from Edge Hill shed in Liverpool to be scrapped during November 1963 at Crewe works.
