LMS Route: Trent Valley Line

An unidentified LMS 4-6-2 Coronation class locomotive is seen at the head of an up express approaching Bulkington station. The first batch of LMS streamlined pacific locomotives carried a blue livery with white 'whiskers' with matching coaching stock whilst the second batch of streamliners were designed to carry the classic LMS 'Midland Lake' with gold whiskers. Stanier also produced a third variant of his design locomotives in a non-streamlined form. C1938
