Ex-LNWR 4F 4-6-0 No 8736, a 19 inch goods class locomotive, is seen on a down fully fitted fast freight racing towards Nuneaton circa 1928. Built at Crewe works in June 1907 No 8736 remained in service until November 1934 when it was withdrawn for scrapping at Crewe works. David Murray wrote correcting the description of the train being partially fitted, 'looking at the make-up of the train: parcel vans, non-passenger coaching stock and milk tanks; and at the headcode, this has to be a fully fitted train'.
