View of Bulkington station after the closure of the station and removal of the island platform and the installation of electric light signalling. The building appears to be in use with the window above the station sign left ajar. Similarly, the steps from the road appear to be in good repair and whilst they may have been used when passengers used the station they would still have been required by Permanent Way gangs to access the railway line.
