Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45723 'Fearless' is seen working hard at the head of a down express train on 16th March 1957. Built at Crewe works in August 1936 No 45723 remained in service for twenty-eight years being withdrawn from service in August 1964 from Nuneaton shed to be scrapped during January 1965 by Bird's of Morriston near Swansea.
