LMS Route: Rugby to Tamworth
Trent Valley Lineside - Cathiron: lnwr_cath1134
Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45684 'Jutland' is seen
with steam escaping from its safety valves at the head of a down express
parcels train circa 1957. Built as LMS No 5684 at Crewe works in February 1936
No 45684 remained in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from
Bank Hall shed in Liverpool to be scrapped during March 1966 by J Cashmore of
Great Bridge.
