Ex-LMS 8P 4-6-2 Princess Coronation class No 46250 'City of
Lichfield' is seen working hard at the head of an up express service circa
1955. Built at Crewe works in May 1944 No 46250 remained in service until
September 1964 when it was withdrawn from Upperby shed in Carlisle to be
scrapped during December 1964 by Arnott & Young, West of Scotland
Shipbreaking Company in Troon.
