Ex-LMS 5XP Jubilee class No 45737 'Atlas' still carrying the legend LMS on its tender as it passes under Gypsy Lane bridge circa 1949. Built at Crewe works in November 1936 No 45737 remained in service until May 1964 when it was withdrawn from Newton Heath shed in Manchester to be scrapped in November 1964 by TW Ward Ltd of Killamarsh.
