LNWR 2-4-2T No 1155 is seen passing under the footbridge at the head of a train to New Street station circa 1900. Built by Crewe works in April 1894, No 1155 was to remain in service until October 1925 when it was withdrawn from service to be scrapped by Crewe works. The LMS had allocated the running number 6696 but this was never applied.
