LMS 5MT 4-6-0 'Stanier Black 5' No 5315 is seen passing over Newbold Troughs whilst at the head of a three-coach Rugby to Stafford local passenger service in August 1937. Built by the Armstrong Whitworth Company in February 1937 No 5315 remained in service until September 1963 when it was withdrawn from Crewe South shed to be scrapped during October 1963 by Crewe works.
