Close up of image 'lnwr_pol1205' showing the main station building built by Livock which still retains his distinctive style of canopy with columns very close to the platform edge and spaced about eight feet apart. This style was to be found at Nuneaton and Atherstone too although with subtle differences to the canopy support. In the image of the original Nuneaton station the end support of the canopy was more stylised whereas Polesworth' was plain with no extra detail.
