LMS Route: Rugby to Tamworth

Close up of image 'lnwr_tam2346' showing Tamworth No 2 signal box and the rail entrance leading to the goods yard and shed. On the left of the signal box is the down slow line which ran into Tamworth's down platform. On the right the line divides in to three sidings, the left hand one leading to a large cattle dock, the centre siding leading an unknown small store building, whilst the third siding itself divided into three further sidings. The siding on the left was for wagons to be unloaded if need be with access to a 3 ton crane, the centre siding led directly into the goods shed whilst the third ran on the other side of the shed to a small landing dock.
