LMS Route: Rugby to Tamworth

Trent Valley Lineside - Towns Thoms: lnwr_tt1215

Ex-LMS 5XP 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45638 'Zanzibar' is seen heading an up milk and perishables train into Town Thoms cutting circa 1955. If this photo seems familiar its because image 'lnwr_tt1218' shows the same locomotive at the same location on what could be the same working with almost identical stock some twenty years earlier. The locomotive, the track and the sides of the cutting are all however looking tired and unkempt.
