View of the entrance to the former Windsor Street Wharf off Rupert Street on the left with the bridge carrying the railway over Avenue Road on the right. British Rail used the former wharf for the site of their 'Aston Freight and Steel Terminal' business but by the late 1970s this was no longer a viable business, hence the closure of the facilities and demolition of the buildings. Ahead the crane demolishing the bridge can be seen with on the right fronting on to Avenue Road are the former offices to the original goods station.
