View of the temporary track installed to recover the remaining coaches after the removal of the fourth coach. The sharp angle where the track descends down the bank is clearly evident although some earth has been removed to lessen the angle. It would appear that the rail was formed in-situ as the track appears to be formed from two sets of rails with the join between the rails on top to the rails on the bank being just below the crown of the embankment. The rail has been fixed to chairs which in turn were spiked into the temporary sleepers.
