LMS Route: Nuneaton to Leamington

Looking towards Nuneaton along the down platform a few days prior to the closure of the station in January 1965. On the right are a few schoolboy trainspotters who would by now be on a diet of Diesel Multiple Units or Diesel locomotives with steam locomotives becoming a rare sight. The raised signal informs us that a train from Coventry is about to call at the station or pass through on its way to Nuneaton.
