An August 1958 Timetable showing just five services per weekday, except Wednesdays and Saturdays when additional services were available, between Rugby and Leamington. The timetable for these two days would have reflected the demand from shoppers, in the days prior to 24/7 shopping and when most houses did not have fridges or freezers, a midweek plus Saturday shopping was a must. When first opened the line operated five trains per day during the week (no Sunday services were available). This increased to seven trains each weekday by 1871 and when the line was doubled one or two Sunday services were made available too. Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith state that 'the 1895 timetable showed eight trains through to Warwick Milverton per day two of which omitted four stops. The number of trains each day was still recorded as being eight in 1921 but these now called at all stations. Wartime economy measures saw the numbers reduce to six services per day by 1945 whilst post-war the figure was reduced to that seen above, five services per day.
