Ex-LMS 5XP Jubilee class No 45669 'Tasmania' is seen leaving Platform 5 at the head of the 10 34am service to Wolverhampton on 19th March 1954. Built by the North British Locomotive Company in August 1934 No 45669 was to remain in service until April 1964 when it was withdrawn from Patricroft shed in Manchester to be scrapped in May 1964 by Crewe works.
