Ex-LMS 5P4F 2-6-0 'Crab' No 2764 is seen passing under Worcester Street bridge with the tunnel seen in the distance, as it enters New Street station

Ex-Midland Railway 2P 4-4-0 No 40463 is seen on the middle road between Platforms 9 and 10 whilst on pilot duties during 1953. Built by Derby works August 1895, No 40463 was to remain in service until July 1956 when it was withdrawn from 21B Bournville shed to be scrapped.
