BR Period Locomotives: lnwrbns_br1800
Ex-LMS 3MT 2-6-2T No 40105 is seen passing on the middle
road between Platforms 7 and 8 a Class 'J' empty wagon train on 6th November
1949. Built as LMS No 105 by Derby works in June 1935 No 40105 was allocated
Saltley at the time and was to remain in service until July 1962 when it was
withdrawn from Heaton Mersey shed to be scrapped in May 1963 by GH Campbell of
Shieldhall.
