Ex-LMS 4MT 2-6-4T No 42345 is seen passing under Navigation Street bridge as it arrives at Platform 1 with a local passenger service. Built by Derby works in May 1929 No 42345 was to remain service until May 1960 when it was withdrawn from Oxenholme shed to be scrapped in November 1960 by the former Great Central's Gorton works.
