British Railways Type 4 1-Co-Co1 D94 is seen standing at Platform 9 ready to depart with the 12:52pm York to Bristol express on 8th June 1961. Built two months earlier at Crewe works in April 1961 D94 was initially allocated to Derby shed and in September 1973 was renumbered 45114 under the 'TOPS' coding system and remained in service until February 1987 when it placed in store at March shed in Cambridgeshire.
