British Railways built 4MT 2-6-4T No 42112 is seen standing at the head of a down express on 22nd June 1963. Designed by Fairburn, No 42112 was built in June 1949 by Derby works and remained in service until July 1965 when it was withdrawn from 9E Trafford Park shed.
