BR Period Locomotives: lnwrbns_br2908
Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44906 is seen departing from platform 3
with an up express on 29th June 1963. Built as LMS No 4906 by Crewe works, it
was renumbered as No 44906 by British Railways in April 1948 which it carried
until March 1968 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped by Cohens of
Kettering.
