Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 44763 waits to depart from platform 3 with an up express on 8th February 1964. Built as LMS No 4763 in October 1947 by Crewe works, No 44763 received its new British Railway identity in August 1949 and retained it until September 1965 when it was withdrawn from 1A Willesden shed for scrapping by J Cashmores of Great Bridge.
