Ex-LNWR 2F 0-6-2T No 58928 is seen later in the day standing at Platform 5 with ex-LMS 2-6-4T No 42267 still coupled to each other on 16th June 1950. The Watford Tank is carrying a number which does not follow the normal rule of adding 40,000 to former LMS numbers as it had been placed on the duplicate list as No 278928 in the 1930s to free up numbers for Stanier's new classes. Previous to being placed on the duplicate list it was LMS No 7803 and in LNWR days it had been built as No 1068.
