LNWR 2-4-0 Precedent class No 865 'Envoy' is seen standing
at Platform 2 whilst marshalling the stock of a down express service circa
1905. Built at Crewe works in 1877 and then rebuilt in September 1894, No 865
remained in service until October 1928 bearing No 5046 its allocated LMS
running number.
