Its interesting to note that none of the three horse-drawn carriages have a horse attached. A horse-drawn tramway served the station's extension by turning left out of Dudley Street, seen in the middle distance on the right, into Station Street and then either continuing onwards to John Bright Street or right into Hill Street to then loop back into John Bright Street.
