The other passenger facilities for Platform 5 were located on the other side of the passenger footbridge and these included facilities for all three classes of passengers. The facilities included a Gentlemen's First Class Waiting Room, Ladies First & Second Class Waiting Room which connected internally to a Ladies Toilet which in turn was also connected to the Third Class Ladies Waiting Room and finally, a General Waiting Room. At the far end of the platform New Street No 4 Signal Box was located and behind this the Gentlemen's Toilets.
