Birmingham New Street Station: lnwrbns_str1884

The Station Street entrance to the station with the pedestrian access to the footbridge on the left and access to the Cab Driveway on the right. The Cab Driveway was divided by a cast iron column supporting one half of two-pairs of gates with drivers entering the driveway on the left and departing on the right. The column and cast iron column on either side of the Driveway have had a bollard positioned to prevent their being hit by road traffic. As seen by the sign above the Drive, access to the parcels office was also made via the driveway.
