Birmingham New Street Station: lnwrbns_str1908

A birds eye view of the rebuilding of the station at the East end of New Street with on the right the remains of Platform One. In the centre at the bottom of the photograph are the skeletal remains of New Street No 1 Signal Box which will be removed within a few days after the photograph was taken. At the top the angled section of new concrete will form part of the external access area for the taxi rank and car park. 11th January 1966
