Birmingham New Street Station: lnwrbns_str1909
View of the LMS advertising hoarding erected at the junction
of Navigation Street, which can be seen on the left, and Pinfold Street. On the
extreme left in the distance is a policeman wearing a white helmet and coat
signifying that he is on traffic duty, in this case at the junction of
Navigation Street and Hill Street. The advertising posters seen above are being
used by the LMS for self-promotion advertising the Isle of Man for holidays via
the LMS' Liverpool ferry services and the two-hour restaurant car express
service from Birmingham to London. 3rd July 1929
