Birmingham New Street Station: lnwrbns_str2878

A Craven DMU is seen lurking in the gloom of the rebuilt New Street station on 15th September 1969. The rebuilt station was in many ways technologically better equipped but its arguable that the old station was still more aesthetically pleasing post war than the 1960s built station a fact probably confirmed by the decision to remodel it again in the early 21st century.
