View of the steps leading from the Station Street Booking Office up to the public footbridge. There were two sets of near identical steps on either side of the Booking Office except they were mirror images of each other. The date of the photograph is thought to be in the 1940s, either during or just after, the Second World War as indicated by the wartime notice displaying the initials 'RTO'.
