Close up of image 'lnwrbns_str402' showing Platform One with
a local train standing at the platform with one of the carriages carrying a
'Leamington' destination board. The first coach on the left is First/Second
Class Composite Coach No 2111 (Richard Foster states the coach has been
'supplemented' by having 2000 added to its number, the carriage equivalent of
being placed on the duplicate list used for locomotives) whilst next to it on
the right is Brake Third Class Coach No 191. The latter has a guards ducket
with an oil lamp placed on top, the ducket being used by the guard to safely
look along the train. Richard Foster speculates that this train might be the
1.10pm to Leamington whilst the train with the coach carrying the 'Hampton'
destination board, two carriages to the right, is the 1.35pm to Hampton
although he has doubts believing the clock to show 1.30pm. In fact careful
examination of the scanned image by manipulating the contrast etc shows the
clock displaying 1.00pm which is consistent with the clock showing 1.10pm in
image lnwrbns_str1866'.
