Looking from the Wolverhampton end of Platform 3 towards the passenger footbridge and the Queens Hotel on the left circa 1903. To the right the different lengths of the cast iron columns supporting the roof illustrate in part the amount of slope Queens Drive had to have allow road traffic from Navigation Street to gain access to New Street station by the building on Platform 3.
