View looking towards Wolverhampton from the spare carriage sidings located on the East side of the station with Platform Two seen immediately ahead. The bracket signal at the end of Platform 2 controls the lines from each side of Platform 2, the left hand pair controlling the line to the left and the right-hand pair controlling the right-hand line. The top arms on each side were used to control access to the tunnel whilst the lower arms were shunt signals permitting locomotives to move within a short distance of the signal for moving stock etc.
