View of an unidentified LNWR 0-6-0 '18 inch Goods' standing at platform 2 with a northbound special excursion. The photographer is standing at the Wolverhampton end of Platform 3, later to be numbered Platform 6 by British Railways. This view can be compared to the photograph seen in image 'lnwrbns_lms1951' which shows both sets of signals still in place some thirty years later.
