An Edwardian view looking along the bay platform serving the South Staffordshire services with the Queen's Hotel on the right. The two loading gauges are a reminder that flat trucks were added to passenger trains to convey horse-drawn vehicles and these were required to ensure thy didn't foul the railway. By this date the platforms had under gone some renumbering so this platform on the right was platform 1 whilst the platform on the left, previously platform 1, was now platform 2.
