LMS Route: Rugby to Leamington Spa (Avenue)

British Railways built 3MT 2-6-2T No 41321 passes Bilton Sidings signal cabin on 26th May 1958. The locomotive has two compartmental coaches behind the bunker and is heading the 5:35pm Rugby (Midland) to Leamington Spa (Milverton) branch service. On the right a gradient board indicates that the locomotive is about to begin a climb of 1:127. Built by Derby works in February 1952 to Ivatt's LMS design No 41321 remained in service until July 1965 when it was withdrawn from 83D Exmouth Junction shed.
