Looking towards Canley Gates and in the general direction of Earlsdon with the original L&B gate keeper's house to the left of the line. The tall signal posts can be seen on both sides of the pedestrian bridge with both fitted with a repeater signal arm at ground level. Opposite each signalpost is a shorter post which was used to stay the tall signal. The post was needed to ensure that there was sufficient headroom for trains to pass beneath the supporting wire.
