An unidentified LNWR 2-4-2T locomotive is seen at an incomplete Gosford Green yard at the head of a train of fourteen wagons. The photograph is derived from a postcard written in Portuguese and references that the train was loaded with crates from the Humber Car factory bound for Bromberg & Co of Brazil. The fact that the yard has only one siding and that there is much ballast piled up would indicate that the yard was part open as image 'lnwrcll117' clearly shows the contractor was still at work on the yard after several other sidings and lampposts had been installed.
